SB- whats your name?

LL- da god lil lex, nah mean

SB- why do you refer to yourself as the god?

LL- to be honest, i dont really know

how long you been in the game?

LL-you know, started rappin when i was like 16, you know freestylin, battlin n shit, didnt get serious until i was lke 18, im 19 now, so that makes it about 3 years now..

SB-where do you find inspiration

LL-you know, im just influence by what i see, what i hear, all my boys, they all got somethin goin, rap. punk, hardcore, combine everything you get, everything you hear...you know? you get me, thats just what is, product of my lifestyle

SB-when you look in the mirror what do you see?

LL- I never look in the mirror

SB- i dont really understand that, should i ask you why?

LL - yeah man, you know its like, everyone is so concerned with why they tryin to be, and what everyone sees themselves as, but you know me, im just concerned with what i am and i know that, see i dont need no mirror to know who i am.


SB- do you think its fair that people might judge your rapping based on the color of your skin?

LL- do i think its fair? nothing fair man, people are gonna judge me no matter what, so if they gonna judge me because of the color of my skin they wouldnt be feelin me anyways, so its not for them, fuck em.

SB - ok cool, whats your living situation like?

LL - right now, im not gonna pretend like, a lot of those rappers out there think they rich because they got a record deal, that dont mean shit..

SB- wait wait wait..how would you know? you dont have a record deal..maybe they are rich from it.

LL- im signed to one city dog. im on an independent. all these cats get a record deal. not seeing no green. you big you out there. you rich. but everyone talking bout they all got money. no ones got money man. you know. right now i share a room with you and then..phantom (mike butler) is in the room right adjacent and then sweet face and mf daniel (patrick and daniel) they live in the other room and then homie baby loke (sam marsh) live on da couch.
